Born in the village of Pueblo Tapao, in the municipality of Montenegro, Quindío (Colombia), Jorge Enrique Londoño Ramirez is a visual artist whose practice focuses on exploring ancestry, symbolic memory, and indigenous cultural roots from a contemporary perspective. His work moves between neo-expressionism and conceptual art, addressing the face as a terrain of identity, fragmentation, and resistance.
With over a decade of experience, Londoño has exhibited in nationally and internationally renowned spaces, including the Museum of Modern Art of China (Tunxi), the Taimeless Art Gallery in Taormina (Italy), and the Casa Museo Grau in Bogotá. He currently represents Latin America as an official delegate for the Salerno Biennale of Contemporary Art (Italy) and the international project Timeless Immortal Art.
His works have been permanently installed in the historic center of Condro (Italy) and in cultural spaces in the city of Méri, Italy. From Cartago Valle, where he lives, he develops curatorial processes, regional artistic projects, and exhibition proposals that articulate art as a tool for memory and social transformation.
